Chris Colfer

I really enjoy reading and many authors strongly stand put to me such as James Patterson, v.c Andrews and...Chris Colfer. I really enjoy all kinds of books and own quite a few. Chris Colfer has really stuck out to me in his new book (a new york times best seller) ' The Land of Stories';  the wishing spell.

This story takes setting in a magical world where anything is possible. Twins Alex and Connor have just lost a very important person in their lives... their father. After their father died their mother is working constantly to provide for them and is constantly way behind on their home and financial bills. The twins have been getting into trouble and struggling in school and at home. Alex is very close with her teacher and Connor just sleeps. For the twins twelfth birthday their father's grandmother comes to stay with them to help her mother. For the twins birthday their grandmother gave them the land of stories. As Alex and Connor learn its magic they fall into the book...To return home they must meet all the fairytale characters and gather certain objects from them (*this is known as the wishing spell). Will Alex and Connor safely get home? Or will they be stuck in a fairytale land forever?
